Fitzroy Thomas was born on December 31, 1940 to the late Hugh Barrow and Irene Thomas in the village of LaBrea Trinidad- West Indies. Fitzroy migrated to United States in the year 1967 to prepare a home for his late wife Olga Thomas, where they would raise their two children Jeromey and Libby.
He loved spending time with his family at picnics, swimming and taking long road trips. In his younger years he enjoyed playing soccer, boxing and cricket. He also enjoyed a 30-year career as a computer systems data operator for Chase Manhattan Bank.
Fitzroy is survived by son Jeromey Thomas, daughter Libby Thomas. Daughter in law Rhonda Thomas. Three brothers Kirt, Kent and Leon. Two sisters Lottie and Sybil. Sister in laws Queen Ann, Henrietta, Margaret and Eva. Brother in laws Magnus and Herbert. Seven grandchildren CJ, Jessica, Jeremy, Javen, Olivia, Jordyn and Jennifer. Great grandson Ayden. And a host of nieces, nephews, close relatives and friends.
