On Sunday, October 14, 2018, Thomas Emil Leire, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away suddenly at the age of 71 years. Tom will forever be remembered and will be greatly missed by his wife Merydith, his five children, Thomas, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Kristen and Bridget, and his four grandchildren, Thomas, Jake, Caroline, and Theodore. Tom’s kindness, integrity, and sense of humor impacted and touched the lives of many, and he will be also be remembered by his extended family and many close friends and colleagues.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Tom’s life will be held on Friday October 26, 2018 from 5–9PM at Thomas C. Montera, Inc. Funeral Home. 1848 Westchester Ave., Bronx, NY 10472. A Burial Service will be held on Saturday October 27, 2018 at 11:30AM at Woodlawn Cemetery 4199 Webster Ave., Bronx, NY 10470. A reception will follow.
