Obituary for Dennis Hercules

Dennis Mark Hercules was born to the late Michael “Artie” Hercules and Joan Job-Hercules on May 27th 1960, on the island of Tobago in the Caribbean.

Dennis’ mother along with his brothers, Michael, and Brian migrated to the Bronx, New York in 1969, where they lived for several years. During his teenage years, Dennis attended James Monroe High School and graduated June of 1978.

Shortly thereafter, Dennis enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served as a Lieutenant Corporal from 1979-1983, until he left the Corps after receiving an Honorable discharge. Dennis later continued his education, graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and developed a love for building computers.

Dennis met and married Jasminn Tracy Emanuel in 2004 and they settled in Queens, New York. Dennis worked as a Corrections officer at the Fishkill Correctional Facility from 2012 after relocating to Middletown, NY in 2008 - where he and his family resided until his untimely passing.

Dennis leaves to mourn: his children: Denisha Nicole Hercules (age 24), Branden Shawn Hercules (age 12), Denise Allison King-Hercules (age 32), and stepson Jason Holmes (age 29); his grandchildren: Jordon King (age 14) and Nubia Polk (age 1); his brothers Michael and Brian, sisters-in law, a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and other immediate and extended family, co-workers, and friends.
